Summer heat

The summer heat has been switched on for a while now. We haven't had a drop of rain since late June. That's pretty normal in these parts. Luckily for the wildlife, we have a water feature that fills up once a day and supplements their water needs. That makes for a lot of deer-cam photos.

This is the first time this season that we've seen this big of a buck in the backyard.
